Reclining subshrub, the stems hispid with evenly distributed simple bulb-based hairs 2-4 mm long and fine hairs 0.5 mm long in narrow longitudinal rows. Leaf blades up to 8 cm long (reduced upward), about as wide, broadly cordate-ovate, coarsely dentate, acute to short-acuminate, moderately hirsute above and beneath, the hairs usually simple, occasionally stellate; petioles ¥4 the length of the blades or less; stipules 10-15 mm long, ciliate, caducous. Inflorescence a nearly leafless apical raceme; pedicels 1-2.5 cm long, hispid; involucellar bracts ca. 10, 8-12 mm long, prominently hispid-ciliate, arcuate in fruit; calyx 8-10 mm long, hirsute; corolla rotate, the petals 2.5-3 cm long, pink, abaxially pubescent in bud; androecium 2 cm long, pallid, essentially glabrous, the filaments 1-1.5 mm long; styles exceeding androecium, minutely pubescent, the stigmas reddish. Capsules 6 mm long, 10 mm in diameter, stellate-pubescent throughout and with a few coarse simple hairs; seeds unknown, Chromosome number unknown.A
