Descripción
Subshrubs ca. 1 m tall, prominently viscid and malodorous, the glandular hairs the stems and petioles often overlain with long (1-1.5 mm) simple hairs. Leaf blades 6-9 cm long (smaller upward), broadly ovate, deeply cordate, crenate- serrate, acuminate, minutely stellate-pubescent above and beneath; petioles more than half the length of the blades. Inflorescence more or less paniculate, the leaves much reduced; flowers solitary in the leaf axils or cymosely grouped on short lateral branches; pedicels 1-2.5 cm long, glandular-pubescent; calyx 7-11 mm long, ca. half-divided and prominently keeled, densely glandular-pubescent and with numerous simple hairs 1-1.5 mm long; petals 9-13 mm long, evenly white to pale lavender, mm long; claws densely bearded with adjacent margins coherent by interlocking hairs, otherwise glabrous; staminal column ca. 1 mm long, glabrous, the filaments 5-6 styles 3-5 (usually 4). Fruits 6~7 mm in diameter, pubescent; mericarps 3-5 (usually 4), 1-3-seeded; seeds ca. 2 mm long. Chromosome number unknown.A
