Shrubs ca. 1 m tall, the stems densely stellate-pubescent, the hairs yellowish. Leaves short-petiolate to subsessile, the blades up to 6 cm long, gradually reduced upwards, narrowly lanceolate, truncate, obscurely serrate, acute, slightly dis colorous, densely stellate-pubescent above and beneath; stipules 7-8 mm long, linear. Inflorescence a narrow leafy raceme; pedicels 0.5-1.5 cm long, axillary; calyx ca. 3 mm long, densely pubescent, cupuliform; corolla rotate, the petals 4 mm long, yellow; staminal column 4 mm long, pallid, surmounted by 5 filaments and 5 or 10 anthers; styles 5. Fruits 4 mm in diameter, oblate, minutely stellate pubescent; mericarps 5, indehiscent, the lateral walls smooth. Chromosome number unknown. A
