Descripción
Arborescent or shrub. Petioles (0.5–) 0.7–1.0 cm long. Leaf blades elliptic to obovate, apex acuminate, base attenuate to truncate, 9.0–25.0 long (2.0–) 4.0–10.0 wide cm; pinnately veined, camptodromous. Flowers cauliflorous, placed in thyrse; flower pedicels 0.3–1.5(3.3) cm long. Bract absent. Perianth 1.0–6.0 cm long; utricle ellipsoid; tube, undefined bent and shape; limb globose, acuminate to mucronate at the apex, trilobate at the base (mid lobe usually long); limb color dark maroon, around the throat with white stains, usually toward the base lobe.A
