Several species of Dyschoriste remain poorly circumscribed with plants morphologically intermediate among many of them. Molecular phylogenetic studies using a dense sampling of plants in these taxa will hopefully provide insights into their taxonomic status. At present, the identities of numerous specimens from various states remain unresolved.A
