Rhizomes slender, long-creeping, ca. 0.2 mm diam.; rhizome hairs dark brown, 0.2 mm long; roots absent; fronds 5–15 X 1–3 mm, distant; stipes very short, 0.5–1 mm, 1⁄10–1⁄15 the frond length; blades linear or linear-oblong, mostly entire, irregularly pinnatifid distally; veins free, ascending, with false veins parallel but not connected to true veins, both types running to margins; margins with simple to stellate hairs; sori single on apical lobes; involucres totally immersed, lips spreading, semiorbicular, margin with 1–3 rows of black-walled cells; 2n=68 (Trin).A
