Discusión taxonómica
Cyclopeltis comprises six species, five in Southeast Asia, only one (widespread) in lowland wet forests of the NewWorld tropics. Precise relationships of the genus are not entirely clear, but seem to be dryopteroid or polystichoid. Unpublished molecular work by Cranfill (pers. comm.) suggests an alliance with Lomariopsis. Cyclopeltis is sometimes placed in its own family (e.g., by Ching, 1940).A
