Trunks rhizomatous to erect, to 1 m tall; fronds 2–4 m, chartaceous; blades broadly ovate, nearly tripinnate to tripinnatepinnatifid; stipes and rachises smooth, pinnae lanceolate; costae and costules sparsely to densely pubescent; segments dark green adaxially, paler to glaucous abaxially, the margins revolute; sori (2–)4–5 pairs per segment, more or less erect to directed laterally, slightly spaced along segment margins.A
